Frank Beatty SC

Frank is a practicing Senior Counsel who specialises in regulatory law and professional negligence, particularly in the healthcare sector. He has prosecuted and defended registrants of the Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI), the Health & Social Care Professionals Council (CORU), the Dental Council, the Medical Council, the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI), the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI), the Teaching Council, and the Veterinary Council (VCI). 

He acts as Legal Assessor to the Fitness to Practice Committees and/or the governing bodies of CORU, the Dental Council, the Medical Council, NMBI, PSI, the Teaching Council, and/or the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal. He is also the Deputy Chair of the Fitness to Practice Committee of the VCI. 

He is an ex-chair and current member of the Executive Committee of the Professional, Regulatory and Disciplinary Bar of Ireland, a specialist bar association for Irish barristers who practice before regulatory tribunals
