Dee Duffy

Dee has worked as a healthcare solicitor for over 14 years and is Head of Claims and Complaints in Medisec, a members’ organization that arranges professional indemnity for doctors and dentists. The Medisec in-house legal team provides medico-legal advice and assistance to its members when faced with regulatory complaints.  Dee has advised and represented many medical professionals in disciplinary and regulatory matters, including Medical Council / Dental Council PPC complaints, FTPC inquiries and suspension applications.  

Dee previously worked in a leading law firm representing regulatory bodies so is familiar with both the prosecution and defence of regulatory complaints.   With a keen interest in the medico-legal field, Dee regularly publishes articles on legal topics of interest and regularly presents on risk education, medico-legal trends and best practice.
